This is a great video that was on 60 Minutes a few years back. My friend Julie's cousin Paul is one of the people interviewed in the video. It gives a solid overview of the surgical procedure, and what can be expected afterward. What I found most interesting about this though, was how it highlighted the research showing the link to this surgery and the elimination in most cases of type 2 diabetes. Amazing stuff!
